Kruba Chao Apichai - Miraculous Amulets of The North


Miraculous Amulets of The North is our photo article story featuring a reclusive monk from the past decade, Kruba Chao Apichai Khao Pi or more popularly known as 'Kruba Khao Pi' in Lumphun and Chiang Mai region. Kruba Khao Pi is a white robe monk synonymous with the white robe he adorn throughout his Vassa spent in the Sangha Order.



















Together with his Teacher Kruba Srivichai, they have built numerous temples, hospitals and roads in the northern region of Thailand. Kruba Khao Pi's remarkable achievement as a builder is truly commendable until today and the legacy which Kruba Khao Pi left behind are some of his miraculous amulets for knowledge sharing purpose here.
















Kruba Khao Pi's body never decay and visitors can visit the temple Wat Phra Phutthabat Pha Nam in Lamphun Province.

In all the powder/herb based amulets, at the bottom of the Yant, some of these rare jewels will have Khmer word imprinted (see below). There are no significance but good to share this information piece.
